Each summer, we bring in dozens of kids from the surrounding area and spending four jam-packed days in Medora, North Dakota, creating a positive, caring, and safe environment for our attendees. During this time, Kat Perkins and her staff of talented professionals will be coaching your children on everything from singing and performance training, gaining confidence in their voice and stage presence, the business side of the industry and how to set themselves up for success, acting, songwriting, dancing, and so much more! The campers will have full days of activities learning and bonding with their peers, while also attending one of a kind experiences and leaving camp with memories for a lifetime!
Campers will be split into small groups to rehearse and a song determined by the genre of music they wish to pursue, while also being able to showcase their individual skills at nightly campfires. The end of the week culminates with a performance with Kat at the legendary Burning Hills Amphitheater (home of the famous Medora Musical)! This beautiful amphitheater seats over 2,800 people and is located in the gorgeous Badlands of North Dakota, with breathtaking natural scenery and wildlife. Join us in this musical journey and be a part of the fourth annual Kat Perkins Badlands Rising Star Camp!

We want all campers to know that their opinions matter, & they should feel free to share them at any time. Work together! Be a positive leader!
This camp will be a safe and nurturing environment where campers will receive advanced vocal training in a non-judgmental, creative environment. Bring your best creative self and be mindful of supporting others as we go on this musical journey together! WE CREATE, WE SUPPORT, I GOT YOUR BACK!
